Sen. Tito Sotto Seeks Stiffer Penalties VS Perjury Amid Alyas Bikoy Peter Joemel Advincula Claims
TITO SOTTO – Senator Tito Sotto eyes on adding heftier penalties for perjury amid ‘Bikoy’ Peter Joemel Advincula claims.
Recently, the sharer or uploader of the “Real Narcolist” video, Rodel Jayme was arrested by the authorities.
Advincula is certain that the people around President Duterte are involved in the illegal drug syndicate. He also said he’s willing to be investigated by the Senators regarding this matter.
On May 7, Alyas Bikoy said the “Ang Totoong Narcolist” video was an orchestrated lie. He said he was paid to destroy the name of President Duterte, his family and Bong Go.
His story changed so quickly. Now, the people are wondering they would still believe his statements.
Meanwhile, Senator Tito Sotto was interviewed on Ted Failon’s program “Failon Ngayon.” The broadcaster inquired about his opinion about the penalties of committing perjury.
Sen. Tito Sotto believed that adding heftier fines on perjury would scare the people in lying in the stand.
The interview of Ted Failon to Sen. Tito Sotto earned various reactions from the netizens. Here are some of their comments on the video:
@Mindanao Davao: “Tama yan failon!!
Pinapakawalaan at pinagpipiyansa pa.”
