Latest Weather Updates in PH Released by PAGASA

The state weather bureau PAGASA released the latest weather updates in the Philippines for Tuesday (May 21, 2019).

The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) reported that cloudy conditions with some rain showers are expected in most parts of the country.

PAGASA said that the frontal system would bring cloudy weather conditions with scattered rains and thunderstorms over Batanes and the Babuyan Group of Islands.

Partly cloudy to cloudy conditions with isolated rainshowers are expected over the Visayas, Palawan, and Occidental Mindoro.

The localized thunderstorms would also affect the weather condition over Metro Manila and the remaining parts of the Philippines.

Meanwhile, the coastal water conditions over the extreme Northern Luzon would be moderate to occasionally rough.

The surrounding sea conditions over the rest of the country would be slight to moderate, according to the weather bureau.

The weather agency also warned the public of possible flashfloods and landslides during severe thunderstorms.
