Korina Sanchez had this statement for the status of Mar Roxas in the senatorial race
Rated K host Korina Sanchez reacted to the senatorial race status of her husband former Senator Mar Roxas.
Mar is one of the candidates under the Otso Diretso group of the opposition. He was one of the opponents of President Rodrigo Duterte during the election back in 2016.
Based on the recent partial and unofficial result of the senatorial race, the politician from the Visayas did not enter the magic 12. He is still included in the Top 20 but with his number of votes, it will be difficult to say that he will rise to the top.
With this, Korina Sanchez continues to show support for Mar Roxas. Through her recent Instagram post, she told her followers her reaction to her husband’s status in the senatorial race.
Korina shared a story when they had a pictorial in Pittsburgh with their twins, Pepe and Pilar.
“Kasi hate niya yung posing-posing sa litrato. Sabi niya, “hindi naman kase importante pa itong mga picture na ito, pakainin mo nalang ng merienda ang photographer at kainan na tayo…” the journalist said.
She added that one trait of her husband is seeing the more important things in life.
“Sa panahong ito na andaming tanong sa nangyaring bilangan sa boto ng senador, ang sabi lang nya, “Ang importante ay yung magpasalamat tayo sa mga sumuporta sa aten,” Korina Sanchez shared.
In line with this, the TV host expressed their gratitude for the people who voted and supported her husband.
She mentioned different groups and individuals who accompanied them from the campaign period until now.
