Jinggoy Estrada Accept Defeat, Expresses Support For His ‘BFF’ Bong Revilla

JINGGOY ESTRADA – Former Sen. Jinggoy Estrada accepted his defeat and showed his support to his ‘bff’ Sen. Bong Revilla Jr.

Politician, actor and tv personality Jinggoy Estrada is the son of former Philippine president Erap Estrada. He is also the half-brother of Senator JV Ejercito.

The 56-year old politician is one of the senatorial candidates for the 2019 mid-term elections. Unfortunately, he wasn’t able to gather enough votes to join the top 12.

Recently, Jinggoy Estrada penned a lengthy post on Facebook expressing his sentiments about the polling results.

He accepted his loss in the senatorial race and thanked the people who voted and supported him during the election.

 “Sa lahat po ng mga bumoto, nagdasal at sumoporta po sa akin, taos puso po akong nagpapasalamat sa inyong lahat.

“Bagamat hindi po tayo pinalad na makapasok sa magic 12, ayon sa unofficial count ng Comelec at mga VCM’s, tatanawin ko pa rin ng malaking utang na loob sa inyo ang inyong ipinakitang suporta sa akin lalong lalo na ang masang pilipino na kahit kailan hindi po ako iniwanan,” he added.

Jinggoy Estrada showed his support to his fellow politicians that got into the so-called ‘Magic 12.’ He congratulated the new senators Bong Go, Imee Marcos, Francis Tolentino, and Bato Dela Rosa.

He hoped that they will fulfill the promises they made during their campaign.

On Jinggoy Estrada’s post, he also prayed for the success of his ‘bff’ Sen. Bong Revilla in entering the “Magic 12.”

“Sa aking BFF at kakosa na si Sen. Bong Revilla , bagamat matagal tayong nagkasama at ngayon lang tayo maghihiwalay…”

“Ipagdadasal ko ang iyong tagumpay sa Senado at ipagpatuloy mo ang laban para sa katotohanan. I love you my friend!” he added.

Based on a report from GMA News, Jinggoy Estrada laded on the 15th spot garnering 11,267,199 votes based on the partial and unofficial results as of 5:29 am today.
