Jejomar Binay’s ballot was rejected, Comelec explains
The vote counting machine (VCM) rejected the ballot of former Vice President Jejomar Binay and the Commission on Election (Comelec) explained the incident.
Binay was one of the prominent political personalities who went early to voting precincts. He voted at San Antonio National High School in Makati City.
When the former VP was about to enter his ballot to the VCM, it rejected. This happened for the 8th time.
Based on a previous report, Binay will file a complaint to Comelec because of the incident.
With regards to this problem, Director James Jimenez stated that the machine was already replaced.
He said in a press conference that they immediately gave assistance to address this problem. Jimenez also stressed out what went wrong.
“So again, ulitin ko lang, ang naging problema ay ‘yong makina. So the machine will have to be, it has, in fact, been replaced,” the Director explained.

Two children of Jejomar Binay is now running against each other on the mayoralty race in Makati City.
Previously, siblings Abby and Junjun Binay has a heated argument during a debate.
Apparently, they have different political stands as they are now rivals for the same position.
Meanwhile, the daughter of the former VP, Nancy Binay is one of the senatorial candidates.
