77-YEAR-OLD VOTER – A 77-year-old voter cast her vote in Binitayan Elementary School Dagaraga, Albay today.

Everyone has the right to vote even if you are illiterate, a senior citizen, or a person with a disability (PWD). They do not have to fall in line anymore.

All of us should take advantage of voting every election because it’s the only time we can make a difference in our country.

As simple as waking up early in the morning, going to our designated voting precinct and vote our favored candidates will matter. Voting means you care about the status of your country.

Choosing the right leaders will affect the lives of the people and the young children’s future.

In a previous article, a blind man went viral after he went to his voting precinct and claiming his right to vote. He was accompanied by his first cousin.

Lots of netizens lauded the blind man’s actions and patriotism.

In a report, there was an unfortunate incident that happened to a voter in Barangay Santiago, Bauang, La Union earlier.

The unnamed senior citizen collapsed and died of heat stroke after he/she cast her votes around 11 am.

Meanwhile, a 77-year-old voter also cast her vote for the 2019 midterm election. Her name was Teresita Velasco Loterte.

On the Facebook Page of Inquirer, they uploaded the photo of the old woman showing her finger marked with indelible ink.

Based on the caption, the 77-year-old woman cast her votes in Senior Citizen priority lane in Binitayan Elementary School in Daraga, Albay.

The photo of the old woman surely encourage some people to cast their votes now.
