Beach Resort In Catanduanes Uses Plastic Bottles As Fence

BEACH RESORT – A beach resort in Catanduanes used recycled plastic bottles as a fence.

Philippine President Rodrigo “Digong” Duterte shut down the beautiful paradise of Boracay because of water pollution.

Our country is known for having lots of gorgeous beaches and a perfect location for snorkeling. However, the popular island was tainted by sewage and garbage.

The president put Boracay into a 6 months rehabilitation and now, the beauty of the beautiful island has been restored.

Businesses in the said island continued, local and foreign tourist flock to enjoy the fresh beach air.

The government is keeping up on renovating the Philippine beaches and teaching the people on how to make plastics useful.

Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) are the one who pushes the development, supervising, and conservation of the country’s resources.

On the Facebook page of News5, they shared several photos of fences out of soft drinks plastic bottles or “ecobricks.”

Based on the caption, the eco-bricks was posted on a beach resort in Barangay. Marilima, Virac, Catanduanes.

The island province located in the Bicol region. Catanduanes has lots of scenic spots worth seeking out.

They have the Binurog Point, Cagnipa Rolling Hills, Puraran Beach, Hitoma Lake, Palumbanes Group of Islands, Carorian, and Bato Church.

They also posted a tarpaulin with a reminder for the local and foreign tourists. Most of the people participated on making and utilizing those ecobricks

“Be a Responsible Tourist”

It can be seen on the photos that the plastic bottles were piled neatly on the beach as a fence. Some houses also used the ecobricks as fences on their house.
