Schedule of the DepEd Brigada Eskwela Including the Launching Announced

DEPED BRIGADA ESKWELA – The Department of Education announced the schedule for the Brigada Eskwela for school year 2019-2020.

In the Philippines, the government agency that takes charge of implementation of the education guidelines and rules in public schools is the Department of Education.

All the public elementary and secondary schools in the country are under the Department or more commonly called as DepEd.

The school year 2018-2019 is officially over and, currently, the teachers, school staff, students, and parents are preparing for the school year 2019-2020.

Recently, an update regarding the next school year crossed the surface.

DepEd Brigada Eskwela

Based on a report on GMA News, the Department of Education has announced the DepEd Brigada Eskwela schedule for the next school year.

The Brigada Eskwela is a five-day clean-up drive in elementary and secondary schools as part of the preparations for the opening of classes.

According to Undersecretary Tonisito Umali, the launching of DepEd Brigada Eskwela will be on May 16, 2019 in Alfonso Central School in Cavite. Here’s the theme for the upcoming event:

“Matatag na Bayan Para sa Maunlad na Paaralan”

Based on the report, Umali expressed that the actual Brigada Eskwela is from May 20 until May 25, 2019. There will be no fees in participating to it.

Also, the Undersecretary said that the Department will not be accepting donations from political candidates in the May 13 Election.
