Law Seeking To Create New Mandaue City, Cebu Legislative District Approved by Pres. Duterte
DUTERTE – Philippine President Rodrigo Roa Duterte approved the law seeking for the making of a new legislative district for Mandaue City in Cebu.
Recently, several bills and proposals were passed into laws under the present administration. One of them is the law which is beneficial for the first time job seekers in the Philippines. It was yesterday, May 7, 2019, when reports about it brought hope to a lot of people.
Aside from it, the President has also given his approval on the energy conservation law in the Philippines. The implementation of the policies would be spearheaded by the Department of Energy.
Recently, a news report about another law signed by the President crossed the surface.
Based on a recent social media post on the Facebook page of Rappler, Pres. Duterte gave his approval to the law seeking for the making of a new legislative district for Mandaue City in Cebu.
The President signed the Republic Act No. 11257 or “an act separating the city of Mandaue from the sixth legislative district of the province of Cebu to constitute the lone legislative district of the city of Mandaue.”
As of this writing, there are still no other details regarding the matter.
