Museo De Intramuros Is Now Open, Free Entrance For The First 6 Months
MUSEO DE INTRAMUROS – The Museo de Intramuros is officially open and the admission fee free or the first six months.
The primary role of a museum is to educate, inspire, and engage the community with their exhibits.
The Philippines has lots of museums. In fact, each city has its own institution that lets visitors learn and enjoy about their culture and natural heritage.
In a previous article, there is a newly-opened National Museum of Natural History that is located in Agrifina Circle in Rizal Park.
The said museum features lots of interesting thing like the replica of Lolong, Tree of Life, Spot-Billed Pelican replica and Tinuy-an replica among others.
Meanwhile, Intramuros just opened a new attraction, the Museo de Intramuros.
Based in a report of When In Manila, it is located in the reconstructions of the Mission House of the Society of Jesus and San Ignacio Church.
The institution opened last week and the entrance will be free for the first six months.
According to the report, the new museum has six (6) sections: the Religious Order, the Patronato Real and establishments of Parishes, the Immaculate Conception, the Indio Response, Religious Colonial Paintings, and the establishment of parish and sacred vessels.
The visitors will be able to find various kinds of artworks, sculptures, paintings, and antique items.
The museum showcases the artistry of the Filipinos developed from indigenous to foreign craftsmanship.
Based on the report, Intramuros Administration Chief Guiller Asido said the making of the Museo de Intramuros started 40 years ago.
For now, the museum will be open 9 AM to 5PM from Tuesdays to Fridays.
