The fan meeting of Park Bo Gum in Manila was postponed due to earthquake
Blossom Entertainment, the talent agency handling Korean heartthrob Park Bo Gum announced that his fan meeting in Manila was postponed due to the earthquake.
The earthquake which occurred in Luzon last Monday resulted in class and work suspensions. Several flights were also canceled. Following the earthquake in Luzon, people in Visayas, particularly in Samar, were also shocked when they felt the ground rumbling last Tuesday.
Then, on Wednesday, Mindanao also experienced the quake, especially those in Davao Oriental.
Apparently, these were not just the only schedule or activity that were affected by the earthquake. Filipino fans of Park Bo Gum have to wait a little longer before they can finally meet him in Manila.
Based on the report from The Philippine Star, Blossom Entertainment said: “We would like to express our apology to the many fans who have been waiting for this fan meeting.”
The talent agency of the Korean heartthrob pointed out the importance of safety as their main reason for setting the fan meet on the latter date.
“We offer our deepest condolences to those who suffered damage and to the families involved in this earthquake,” the talent agency also stated.
The fan meeting of Park Bo Gum in Manila is now set on June 22, 2019, (Saturday) at Mall of Asia Arena, based on the report.
He was popularly known for his historical drama titled “Love In The Moonlight”. His Actor of the Year award from Gallup Korea is just one of his achievements in acting.
Park Bo Gum was the youngest actor to received the said award.
The “May your everyday be a good day” event featuring the Korean star was supposed to happen this April 27.
