Clark Airport Flights Still Suspended Although Airport Would Operate Today
CLARK AIRPORT – The flights to and from the Clark International Airport in Pampanga are still suspended although the airport is set to operate today, April 24, 2019.
One of those that were greatly affected by the recent 6.1 magnitude earthquake that hit Central Luzon is the Clark International Airport (CIA). Following the quake, its runway had to be closed.
The closure of the Clark runway led to the cancellation of several flights of the Philippine Airlines and Cebu Pacific Air. It was set for 24 hours suspending not only domestic but as well as international flights.
Recently, an update regarding the CIA operation crossed the surface.
Based on a report on Inquirer, the Clark Airport would operate today, April 24, 2019, but the flights remain suspended. The operation will begin in the afternoon.
PAL has already posted on its official page that it will start resuming all its flight from-to Clark starting tomorrow, April 25, 2019 (Thursday).
Based on the report, the operation at CIA is set to begin specifically at 4:00 in the afternoon today.
We’ll keep you posted for further updates.
