Locsin wrote in a post, “It’s a complaint; we’re looking into it; but these are just fucking food; no one goes to was for clams (maybe Oysters of Locquemariaquer) but they just happen to be OUR food. They should pay for them like in fish market.”

To where Velasquez has replied, “Ang akala ko pa naman matalino ka. Ako ay simpling tao lamang na may simpleng pagiisip. These people are invading our territory they are not just taking food sinistral nila ang ating karagatan!!!!”

And now, in a news report from ABS-CBN where it says “not to laud China for restoring what they have destroyed”, she thanked Locsin about it but was only criticized in return.

But she clapped back, “Hindi po ako sumasali may malasakit lang po ako sa bansa natin. I have nothing against anyone I just want my son to enjoy this beautiful country.”

Meanwhile, here are the other comments of the netizens over the reaction of the singer to this:

I admire you even more Ms. Regine, saludo. Masarap po makita na nagpapahayag kayo ng opinyon sa mapayapa na pamamaraan at marunong din kayo umunawa.

Queen Regine speaks for our country when our leaders can’t.

Thank you also for speaking up ma’am and thank you sir for addressing the concern.
