Songbird Regine Velasquez clapped back to Teddy Boy Locsin.

REGINE VELASQUEZ – The Asia’s Songbird Regine Velasquez clapped back to Teddy Boy Locsin over the issue of giant clams poaching of China in Zambales.

Asia’s Songbird Regine Velasquez is now finally a certified Kapamilya. And being one of the most-followed and well-respected celebrities from the show business industry, she used the social media as a platform for her opinion about certain matters be heard.

Recently, it has been found out that the China had been illegally poaching and harvesting endangered giant clams and destroying fragile corals at Panatag (Scarborough) Shoal. With this, the country will take legal action about the matter.

“We protest this. We said this is illegal and in fact you (China) are also violating conventions on environmental protection for which we can take legal action… They have basically destroyed breeding grounds,” says Teddy Boy Locsin based on a report from Inquirer.

And on Twitter, Locsin wrote, “I am not going down in history as a clam defender, okay? It’s a complaint; we’re looking into it; but these are just fucking food; no one goes to was for clams (maybe Oysters of Locquemariaquer) but they just happen to be OUR food. They should pay for them like in fish market.”

To which has gathered a reply from the Songbird indicating, “Ang akala ko pa naman matalino ka. Ako ay simpling tao lamang na may simpleng pagiisip. These people are invading our territory they are not just taking food sinistral nila ang ating karagatan!!!!”
