Floyd Mayweather Jr. Skips His Press Conference At Resorts World Manila
FLOYD MAYWEATHER JR. – Boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr. ditched his press conference at Resorts World Manila.
American professional boxer Floyd Joy Mayweather Jr. has won several world titles in his career.
The 42-year-old boxer’s last fight was with the Japanese kickboxer named Tenshin Nasukawa. He floored Tenshin three times and finished the fight in just two minutes.
In a previous article, Floyd Mayweather bagged worth of 9 million dollars on that fight.
Professional boxer encouraged the Japanese to support Tenshin Nasukawa’s career.
“I want the fans around the world to support Tenshin, he’s a great guy and a great champion,” he said.
The boxing fans were hoping for a rematch of Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao. The Filipino boxer said he’s willing to fight him but he has to come out of his retirement.
“I’m always available for him. It’s important to [have the rematch], as we have unfinished business. We’ve been waiting for a long time,” Pacquiao said.
Meanwhile, Floyd Mayweather is currently on vacation. He visited Maldives and Boracay before heading to Manila.
Based on a report from GMA, American boxer skipped his press conference in Resorts World Manila on Tuesday, April 3.
He is set to arrive at the prestigious hotel at 3 pm, however, around 11 pm he headed straight to his hotel room.
According to the report, Floyd Mayweather went to the clinic of Dr. Vicky Belo that morning to have a thermage treatment, photo shoot, and presscon.
His session with the clinic ended at around 5:30 pm and reportedly went straight to go shopping in Gucci, and Louis Vitton in Greenbelt.
After shopping, he had dinner at By The Bay in SM Mall of Asia.
Based on the report, the representative of Resorts World Manila announced that Floyd seemed to be enjoying his visit to the country.
“It seems that Mr. Mayweather enjoyed Manila very much that he deviated from his itinerary”
At 11 pm, the hotel representative stated that the American boxer will no longer make an appearance.
