Distress Teacher Posts Open Letter About Her Resignation
A resigned teacher has posted an open letter expressing the stress she experienced on her former job after two cases of suicide among DepEd teachers.
Over the few months, the cases of suicide among the teachers from the Department of Education (DepEd) have been one of the most controversial topics.
The public were blaming the excessive workload and massive amount of paper works charged by DepEd to school teachers.

Recently, the Facebook page “Teachers Be Like” has posted an open letter of resigned teacher expressing her disappointment on the job.
The letter contains the truth behind the resignation of Mam Catalina Sotto, former teacher of Tala High School.
Teacher Sotto revealed that the school works are already killing her after accumulating several diseases due to excessive workloads.
The female educator revealed that she has been away from her children for three years, making her not a good mother to her sons.
Sotto was also spending her own money for teaching material and the compensation is not equal to the given workload.
