Heavy Rainfall Warning Released by PAGASA Over Some Parts of PH
The state weather bureau PAGASA has issued a heavy rainfall warning bringing inclement weather condition over some parts of the country.
On Tuesday (March 19, 2019), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) released an orange and yellow rainfall warning in several areas.
PAGASA raised the heavy rainfall warning to inform the public regarding the current weather condition.
The former Tropical Depression Chedeng that turned into a low-pressure area is responsible for the inclement weather condition over several parts of the archipelago.
Here is the list of areas under Yellow Rainfall Warning:
- Davao Oriental (Boston, Cateel, Baganga, Caraga, Manay, Tarragona)
- CompostelaValley (Laak, Monkayo, New Bataan)
- Davao del Norte (Kapalong, San Isidro)
- South Cotabato (Tupi, Polomolok, Sto. Nino, Norala, Tantangan, Koronadal City, Banga)
- Sultan Kudarat(SN Aquino, Bagumbayan)
- Lanao del Norte
Here are the areas under Orange Rainfall Warning:
- Surigao del Sur (Carrascal, Tagbina, Barobo)
- Agusan del Sur (Rosario)
- South Cotabato
- Davao Oriental
- Compostela Valley
