Some countries consider this event a public holiday while some places just ignore the celebration of womanhood.

In a report, the Metro Rail Transit (MRT-3) previously announced that they are giving free rides to all their lady passengers today, March 8.
All the Filipinas can get a chance to ride for free on the train from 7 am to 9 am and from 5 pm to 7 pm. It is their way to celebrate
This free ride is certainly a big help to several female passengers in the Philippines.
Meanwhile, in Davao City, hundreds of women from different sectors gathered to march for the International Women’s Day.
These group of ladies probably worked for government groups, civic groups, private sectors, and women from different barangays. All of them spared this day just to celebrate womanhood.

International Women’s Day participants in Davao City were obviously preparing for the celebration. They wore wonderful hats and even printed tarpaulins themed for the women’s day.
