Antoinette Taus shares experience after Chow Chow attacked her.

ANTOINETTE TAUS – The actress Antoinette Taus shares her experience when she got hospitalized after bitten and attacked by a Chow Chow.

The 90s icon and beautiful actress Antoinette Taus recently raised awareness and advise to those who have plans in adopting dogs with breeds. This is following her experience with a Chow Chow who suddenly attacked her when she attended an event in Baguio.

According to the post she shared on Facebook, her left forearm suffered the worst damage which accordingly took two hours of surgery and suturing. She had dog bites on her left forearm, left thigh, and right breast.

“We didn’t get to take photos when it happened or in the emergency room. There was so much going on that nobody thought of it. These are photos of my arm after surgery when my bandages were being changed. But initially when it first happened there was some fat hanging out of the wound and I could even see the tendon in my wrist. Luckily there’s no permanent damage and no arteries or nerves were harmed,” she said in the post.

She had then gave an advise to those who wanted to have a dog that pet owners should also consider of adopting abandoned ones. She has indicated, “I am an animal lover and my natural instincts wouldn’t allow me to harm the dog that was attacking me. He is perfectly fine. But I am definitely traumatized most especially by the [chow chow] breed.”

Meanwhile, according to dogtime.com, the Chow Chow dogs are aloof, proud, and has this independent spirit. They are not the best breed to have as a cuddle buddy.
