CATRIONA GRAY COURTESY CALL – Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray paid courtesy call on Vice President Leni Robredo on Tuesday, February 26.

Miss Universe Catriona Gray just recently had her homecoming. It was a grand and warm homecoming for the beauty queen from the country. In her parade, she rode in a red-dominated float with a huge replica of her crown.

She wore a dress inspired by the Anahaw leaves and the Sampaguita flower. Gray also said, “So I feel like my crying moment is going to be during my homecoming parades, because you know, even when I look back in the last couple of years, my most emotional moments as a title holder as a beauty queen have been when I’m surrounded by the people.”

Based on a report from GMA, the 4th Pinay declared as a Miss Universe queen paid a courtesy call on Vice President Leni Robredo at the Quezon City Reception House, Tuesday, February 26.

A short program and a video presentation was made for the beauty queen giving the country this kind of honor. The country’s Vice President grabbed that opportunity to expressed how she made her and the entire country so proud not just for winning the crown but also for representing the best of the Filipinos to the world.

Robredo said, “Alam ko na during the pageant, you exhibited many of our textiles… what we’ll be presenting to you this morning is one of the products of our communities from Marawi City. It’s a malong with Maranao origins.”

In her speech, the crowned Miss Universe 2018 has said, “If we just look in your life and your community… you can give back in the small way, it matters.”
