Based on the website Postal ID Ph, there are different sets of Postal ID requirements depending on whether you are a Filipino residing in the Philippines or you are a foreign resident in the country.

For Filipinos residing in PH, here is the list of Postal ID requirements needed in applying for this valid Philippine ID:

  • Duly-Accomplished PID Application Form (Two copies)
  • Proof of Identity – It may be a Birth Certificate issued by the NSO or Local Civil Registry, a GSIS or SSS ID, a valid Driver’s License, or a valid passport. You may choose one.
  • Proof of Address – It may be a Barangay Certificate of Residency, a bank statement, a credit card statement, a school billing statement, or a utility bill.

Based on the article, for the Proof of Address, you may also use a certified true copy of a lease, of a title issued by the Land Registration Authority (LRA), or a real estate tax receipt.

With regards to using a Barangay Certificate, it must have been issued three(3) months before your application for a Postal ID. Married females are also requested to bring their marriage certificate during the filing.
