He was able to see the difference in the music scene since he took a break in 2016 to serve as the National Youth Commission chairperson.

However, in 2018, he decided to quit his job in the government in order to focus on his singing career.

As he is making a comeback, Ice Seguerra shared that he can see vividly the difference between what is happening now in the music scene and what they used to have before he took a break.

“I had this interview kanina, ’yun ang tanong niya. Kung ano ang plan ko (singing career). Honestly right now, I’m enjoying doing shows,”  he said during a press conference.

Now that he is finally back as a singer, he admits that he had do some adjustments.

“In terms of creating new music, I’m actually at a crossroads kasi when I left the industry for two years when I decided to join the government, ibangiba. Simula noong pagbalik ko hanggang ngayon, ang daming pagbabago. Sobrang buhay na buhay at sobrang bago for me,” the singer said.

He added “Andon ako sa, ‘Ano ba ang gusto ko gawin, ano ba ako ngayon, sino ba ako ngayon.”

In line with his music career, Ice Seguerra is hoping that his artistic inclination will go back to composing songs.

“Sabi ko nga, hopefully these guys inspire me more to create new ones, new music kasi napapansin ko ngayon ‘yung creative juice ko nagpo-flow siya in other platforms, in other things e not in music so hopefully bumalik doon,” he shared.

Based on the report from PUSH, Ice is part of  Playlist: The Best of OPM  concert on March 1, 2019, at the Araneta Coliseum.
