2 Suspects in Jolo Church Incident Based on CCTV Surrender
JOLO CHURCH INCIDENT – Two(2) suspects in the Jolo cathedral incidents based on the CCTV footage surrendered to the authorities.
Several alarming incidents have happened recently. One of it is the twin “blasts” at the Jolo, Sulu cathedral. It took away at least 22 lives and left more than 100 people injured.
The first incident happened inside the church, during a mass. The second one transpired outside when the authorities were already securing the area. It left dead and wounded members of the military.
The incidents sparked alarm to the public. The PH immigration was also ordered to go on a heightened alert while the investigation is ongoing.
Recently, a CCTV footage during the Jolo church incidents was retrieved. Based on the footage, at least three(3) men were suspected to be involved in the incident. The suspects were captured moving away from the area.
One of the men captured in the CCTV was seemingly holding a device. It is suspected that it was used to trigger the incidents.
Recently, an update regarding the incident crossed the surface. Based on a recent social media post on the Facebook page Super Radyo DZBB 594khz, two(2) of the four(4) suspects surrendered to the authorities.
According to the post, the two surrendered to clean their names. They are currently under the custody of the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG).
As of this writing, there are still no further details on the suspects who yielded to the authorities. We’ll keep you posted for updates.
