Power Interruption To Affect Several Areas in Pasig, Taguig & Pateros Today (January 26, 2019)
POWER INTERRUPTION – The Manila Electric Company (Meralco) announced that power interruption is scheduled in several areas in Pasig, Taguig, and Pateros today, January 26, 2019.
Often times, brown-outs or black-outs happen as electric companies need to fix an electric post or electric line. There are also cases wherein additional facilities are being worked on.
The interruption is often considered for the purpose of assuring the safety of the electric company employees on duty and as well as the public. There are also cases when interruption happens due to bad weather.
Most often, electric companies send out early warning to the consumers in case there is a scheduled interruption.
With an early warning or notice, the consumers who will be affected by the interruption can charge their devices, store water, and be prepared before the brown-out or black-out happens.
Recently, Meralco released a notice that several areas in Pasig, Taguig, and Pateros will experience power interruption today, January 26, 2019.
According to a recent report on ABS-CBN News, the electric company expressed that they will be putting up additional facilities in the areas affected by the interruption.
The brown-out in several areas in Pasig, Taguig, and Pateros is set to start at 10:00 o’clock in the evening, Saturday, January 26, 2019. The supply of the electricity is expected to be back at 6:00 o’clock in the morning, Sunday.

- Buting
Taguig
- Barangay Ibayo-Tipas

- Santa Ana
- Santa Rosario Silangan
- Tabacalera
- San Pedro
- Magtanggol
- Santo Rosario Kanluran
