KIM HENARES – The former BIR Commissioner Kim Henares finally speaks after she was allegedly tapped by Kris Aquino to have Alice Eduardo lower tax payment.
It was previously reported that Gretchen Barretto has claimed that Kris Aquino tap the then BIR Commissioner Kim Henares to help Alice Eduardo have a lower tax payment and in exchange for the help she did to Alice are designer bags, shoes, and clothes. Accordingly, this all happened under the presidency of Noynoy Aquino, Kris’ brother.
This was denied and refuted by Kris Aquino by presenting her tax payment. and through an official statement released by her lawyers, it has stated, “First, our client did not intervene for Ms. Eduardo in any pending tax case. Second, our client is a friend of Ms. Eduardo for seven years already, and she knows her to be a law abiding citizen. However, the personal relationship of our client with Ms. Eduardo does not extend to her business interests.”
And now, with this shocking revelations and allegations, the former BIR commissioner finally breaks silence and also refuted Greta’s claims. Henares stated:
The allegations of Ms. Baretto [sic] that people can come to me and fix their tax problem without paying the right amount is straight out of a comedy script.
It is a well-known fact that not even my own family enjoyed any preferential service or treatment, much to their disappointment.
I strongly suggest that Ms. Baretto [sic] apply more restraint and thoughtfulness in her statements.
Alice Eduardo is Kris and Greta’s common friend and according to Wikipedia, she is the “founder, president, and chief executive officer of Sta. Elena Construction and Development Corporation.” She also has showbiz connections because she is one of the benefactors of the “Walk Of Fame” in Eastwood built by German Moreno.
