TAWAG NG TANGHALAN SEMI FINALS – Here are the performances of the semi finalists for the 2nd quarter of Tawag Ng Tanghalan on Day 2.

The amateur singing competition aired in the Kapamilya noontime show is “Tawag Ng Tanghalan” with hailed grand champions in previous editions such as Noven Belleza, Jhon Clyd Talili, and Janine Berdin for the first year, kids edition, and second year respectively.

It is now on it’s third year and just this week, they have started the competition’s Quarter 2 semi finals with semi finalists who made 5 consecutive wins during the daily competition.

The Quarter 2 semi finalists are as follows:

Girlie Las Pinas sang Barbara Streisand’s “The Way We Were”:

Emil Sinagpulo sang “You Are The Reason” of Calum Scott:

Armando Mandapat performed OPM classic “Iduyan Mo” of Basil Valdez:

John Mark Saga sang Sam Smith’s version of “Get Here”:

Rose Ganda Sanz’s “I’m Every Woman” of Whitney Houston:

John Michael Dela Cerna sang “Faithfully”:

The competition has a famous tag line “Your all time favorite search for outstanding amateur talent.” This is a classic singing contest to which some of the famous OPM icons such as Nora Aunor, Pepe Pimentel, and Bobot Mortiz have come from.

The judges having rotations and respective days to be in the show are Rey Valera, Yeng Constantino, Karla Estrada, Karylle, Nyoy Volante, K Brosas, Mitoy Yonting, Louie Ocampo, Kyla, Erik Santos, Jaya, and Ogie Alcasid.
