There is a possibility that some of the candidates in the 47th edition of Miss Intercontinental will be sent home due these reasons.
The said pageant is already conducting the preliminary competitions. For this edition, the Philippines is the host country.
Filipina beauty queen Karen Gallman previously stated that she felt a little pressured since the pageant is being held in the country.
However, she is hoping that she will win the crown.
During the press presentation, Karen was able to get two special awards –
Standout Beauty award from H&H and the Media Favorite award.
After that, the preliminary swimsuit and evening gown competitions were also held at the Okada Manila.
This time, the Filipina beauty queen got the Body Beautiful award.
Meanwhile, Miss Paraguay and Miss Germany got the Best in Swimsuit at Best in Evening Gown awards, respectively.
As the pageant is set to happen on January 26 at the Mall of Asia Arena, some changes may still happen.

There are rumors circulating among pageant fans that one candidate is pregnant and her bump is already noticeable.
