NFL Announced Maroon 5 To Perform Super Bowl Halftime Show This February
MAROON 5 – NFL announced that Maroon 5 is set to perform on the Super Bowl’s halftime show this February 3.
American band Maroon 5 is a pop rock band from Los Angeles, California. The members of the bands were Adam Levine (vocalist), Jesse Carmichael (keyboardist), Mickey Madden (bassist), James Valentine (lead guitar), and Matt Flynn (drums).

The Maroon 5 started their band in 1994 and until now, they have been very famous internationally. They are the band behind the hit songs She Will Be Loved, This Love, and Sunday Morning among others.
Based on a report from ABS-CBN, the Maroon 5 was announced to perform on the half time of the National Foot Ball League (NFL), Super Bowl. It is an annual championship game that is loved by most of the Americans.
A lot of famous musicians have already performed on the Super Bowl including Lady Gaga, Bruno Mars, and Michael Jackson among others.
According to the report, Maroon 5 was anticipated to perform of NFL’s 53rd half time at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta this February 3. The band will be joined by the Atlanta native Big Boi and rapper Travis Scott.
However, 75,00 people signed a petition online requesting for the band not to perform for the Super Bowl. These people were supporting the ex-NFL player Colin Kaepernick who kneeled during pre-game to protest against
Colin Kaepernick hasn’t played since 2016 because the NFL and the club owners allegedly conspired not to hire him.
The American President Donald Trump reacted on the kneeling protest saying the players who kneeled were “Son of a B**ch” and should be fired.
Based on the report, other artist have already turned down the offer on performing the half time show in support for Colin.
