In the political arena, one thing that is not new to politicians is the ratings of the people. Surveys are conducted to see if the public is satisfied, trusts, or approves a certain politician.

Based on a report on ABS-CBN News, Pulse Asia Survey has recently done a survey and the result showed low approval and trust ratings for former Pres. Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo.

The now-House Speaker gained only 27% approval rating and 21% trust rating. Her disapproval rating is at 43% while her distrust rating is at 45%.

To this, the former President gave her reaction during a gift-giving activity in the coastal village in Sasmuan, Pampanga.

On her low approval and trust ratings in the Pulse Asia Survey, House Speaker Arroyo expressed that those ratings are not new to her. According to her, she was “pilloried very much” during her term as the President.

“So I haven’t done much to overcome that because I just have to do my work… I am not a stranger to that, to those kinds of trust ratings,” she said.

Based on the report, in the Pulse Asia Survey, Pres. Duterte remained to be the most well-known official of the government. He has an 81% approval rating and 76% trust rating.
