Unidentified Person(s) Shot Cebu Inmate on the Way to Hearing Riding a Patrol Car
CEBU INMATE – An inmate in Cebu was shot by unidentified person(s) while aboard a patrol car on the way to the hearing of the case against him.
Recently, a news report about a prisoner in Cebu who was attacked by still unidentified person(s) crossed the surface. Based on a report on ABS-CBN News, the inmate was identified as Tocelio Dibalucos Ababon.
According to the police, Ababon is a “high-value target” when he was nabbed by the authorities during a buy-bust operation. Drugs worth Php 10.0 million was recovered from him.

The patrol car was along the national highway of Sitio Lala-an, Barangay Bulasa when the incident happened. The police authorities were safe while Ababon obtained a shot in the right side of his head.
According to the report, Ababon was brought to Argao District Hospital but he did not survive.
