Lea Salonga’s Comment on Stell Has Fans Talking Online
LEA SALONGA – Stell’s latest dance video may have impressed countless fans, but Lea Salonga’s reaction became one of the biggest talking points.
Broadway legend Lea Salonga recently drew attention online after reacting to SB19 member Stell Ajero’s impressive dance performance.
The singer and actress left a comment on an Instagram Reel shared by SB19, where Stell could be seen confidently dancing to “Mi Chico” by DJ Goja. In the video, Stell showed off his moves while wearing sunglasses, a black sleeveless shirt, and matching pants, adding to his stylish and energetic performance.
The post carried the playful caption “[Y]our chico?” which appeared to complement the theme of the dance video.
Lea eventually joined the conversation by leaving a comment that quickly caught the attention of fans and netizens. She wrote, “Talented tapos ganyan ang itsura?”
The remark sparked various reactions online, with many fans interpreting it as a compliment toward Stell’s talent and appearance. Some supporters expressed their appreciation for Lea acknowledging the SB19 member, while others took the opportunity to praise both artists.
One netizen wrote, “diba po? pinagpala yan sa lahat. Sana all na lang talaga kami pero kayo rin po ang galing-galing nyo rin po Pinoy pride”
Another fan simply said, “Thank you for the compliment Ms. Leah”
Others also thanked Lea for recognizing Stell, with one commenting, “Thank you po sa pag-appreciate kay Stell”
A fan even celebrated the interaction by saying, “Omg @stell16_ you made it na talaga si Ms. Lea na ‘yan oh! “
Meanwhile, some fans began hoping that the interaction could eventually lead to a collaboration between Lea and SB19. One netizen suggested a possible cover of Disney songs such as “Reflection” or “A Whole New World,” saying, “hoping na magkita po kayo ng SB19 and maybe have a collab cover song from a Disney Legend yung Reflection or yung A Whole New World for sure ganda ng magiging blending with SB19”
Another fan echoed the idea, saying, “baka pwede na ang ms lea and sb19 collab”
However, not everyone interpreted Lea’s comment positively. Some reports said that certain SB19 fans criticized the Broadway legend after giving her remark a different meaning.
One netizen wrote, “this been comment has been interpreted differently (naging pulutan na naman si stell) … ,”
Despite this, others defended Lea and maintained that there was nothing negative about her statement.
Stell is currently SB19’s main vocalist, lead dancer, and main choreographer, making him one of the group’s key performers.
