Actor-Singer Richard Merk Asks Financial Help from Friends in Open Letter

RICHARD MERK – Actor-singer Richard Merk is asking for some financial help from his friends in an open letter that he posted on social media.

One of the showbiz personalities who have become a part of both the entertainment and the music industries in the Philippines is Richard Merk. Many surely knows about the great actor-singer.

However, recently, a sad news left the fans and supporters of the actor-singer sad and worried. His sister, Rachel Ann Wolfe, shared that he was rushed to the hospital.

Through a social media post, the sister of Richard revealed that the singer-actor was found alone by their brother Raffy and he could not talk and walk.

“His blood pressure was through the roof! The results of his CT scan showed that he has cerebral atrophy… Almost suffered a stroke,” Rachel stated.

Currently, Richard is now out of the ICU. Through a social media post, he has expressed his gratitude to everyone who prayed for his recovery and assured that they will be in his always.

Based on a report on Bandera, following the said post, Richard Merk also posted an open letter for his friends. The singer-actor was asking for some financial help for his medical expenses.

“Dear Friends,
It is very hard me to write this letter because I have always been the one organizing in raising funds for friends who are in need. I never thought that I would be in this position at age 64. A lot has happened these past few years and now I find myself in the situation. In this letter I am asking for help… financial help. My closest friends have created a bank account for the hospital/medical expenses I have incurred. Any amount of help is greatly appreciated. What happened to me is a huge set back financially. Thank you in advance for your kindness and May God Bless You!
