Sea Travel Suspended in Several Areas in PH Due to TD Usman

SEA TRAVEL SUSPENDED – The Coast Guard decided to suspend the sea travel in several areas in the Philippines due to Tropical Depression Usman.

Currently, the people are advised to keep themselves updated of the latest weather update as Tropical Depression Usman has entered the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR).

Usman gained strength and there is a possibility that warning signals would be raised on areas where it is forecast to cross.

In line with the presence of Usman in PAR, the Coast Guard has decided for the suspension of the sea travel in several areas in the country.

Sea Travel Suspended

Based on a report on CNN, sea travel suspended by Coast Guard includes those travel to and from the following:

  • Sorsogon, Masbate
  • Ticao Island, Luzon
  • Northern Samar
  • Samar
  • Biliran
  • Leyte
  • Southern Leyte
  • Northern Cebu
  • Camotes Island
  • Dinagat Island

According to the report, the Coast Guard stated that the operation will resume as soon as there is an improvement in the weather condition.
