Heavy Rainfall Warning In Following Areas Released by PAGASA
The state weather bureau PAGASA has issued a heavy rainfall warning over some parts of the country informing the public of current weather condition.
On Thursday (December 20, 2018), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) reported the current weather condition in the country.
PAGASA released a heavy rainfall warning in several areas due to the trough of the low-pressure area.
The weather agency issued an orange and yellow warning in various places informing the public of possible weather system in the next few hours.

Orange Warning Level:
- Dinagat Island
- Surigao del Norte
- Surigao Island
- Surigao del Sur
- Agusan del Norte
- Camiguin
- Tawi-Tawi
Yellow Rainfall Warning
- Agusan del Sur
- Samal Island
- Compostela Valley
- Davao Oriental
- Misamis Oriental
- Misamis Occidental
- Sulu
The weather bureau said that flooding is threatening in low-lying areas and near river channels under the orange warning.
Flooding is expected over low-lying areas and along river channels while mountainous areas might experience possible landslide.
