It can be recalled previously that Vice Ganda mentioned about the AlDub, the love team of Maine Mendoza and Alden Richards in Eat Bulaga‘s Kalyeserye.

For those who are frequently watching the Kapamilya noontime show, the comedian-host did this kind of mentioning for quite a few times already.

It appears that Mariel Rodriguez-Padilla has adapted this trait of the Fantastica actor.

During the recent episode of the variety show In ABS-CBN, Mariel mentioned Eat Bulaga.

It all started when Mitoy Yonting, one of the judges in Tawag ng Tanghalan, cracked his knock-knock joke and he used the phrase “we-weet”.

Then the male singer started to sing the Christmas carol, “Sa may bahay, ang aming bati…” 

His punchline was in the lyrics of “We Wish You A Merry Christmas” as he sang, “We-weet you a Merry Christmas…” 

After him, Mariel raised her hand to share her own knock-knock joke.

The wife of action star Robin Padilla also used the phrase “we-weet”.

Then came her punchline as she sang, “we-weet Bulaga”, referring to their rival show in GMA, Eat Bulaga.

Because of this, netizens reacted to the knock-knock joke of Mariel Rodriguez-Padilla.
