Taxi Passenger Accuses Driver Of Trying to Trick On Fare
TAXI PASSENGER – A taxi passenger named Danissa Gozon Tio from Cebu city accused the driver of cheating on her fare.
A taxi is a vehicle for hire only for small groups of passengers. It is also a better way to avoid commuting with a lot of people like trains or jeepneys.
However, it’s not economical to ride a taxi cab because it is more expensive than public transportation vehicle.
Taxis have a calibrated meters displayed beside them to measure the distance and payable amount of the passenger’s travel.
Meanwhile, a passenger from Cebu was felt horrified after her taxi driver allegedly tried to trick her or cheat on her fare.
A netizen named Danissa Gozon Tio shared her experience on her Facebook account and narrated everything that happened to her in the taxi.
Tio told the taxi driver that she’s bound to the national airport then the driver said yes but I will just drop you off on the near crossroad because there’s a flood on the airport.
The passenger instinctively receives negative vibes from the taxi driver considering the weather is very hot that moment.
On their arrival, Danissa Gozon Tio said she is very certain that she hand over 500 to the taxi driver which the driver insisted that she only gave him P20.
Tio stated that she only have P100 left on her pocket and the driver asked for a 100 more because of his claim that she only paid him P20.
Danissa Gozon Tio nervously took a picture of the man and his car plate number then called out for help from the airport security.
The driver was blocked by the guards and was interrogated. He went back mad and said some bad words to Tio but he handed P240 as the change from her P500 which he first claims it’s a P20.
