A certain netizen gives warning to President Rodrigo Duterte saying “Last time na nagfinals UP, na-oust si Marcos” on his Twitter post.
Recently, the do-or-die game between the UP Fighting Maroons and Adamson Soaring Falcons during the UAAP men’s seniors’ basketball has been one of the most discussed topics online.
The University of the Philippines (UP) gets the opportunity to advance the UAAP men’s basketball championship after beating the Adamson University.
UP Fighting Maroons would face the defending champion Ateneo de Manila University Blue Eagles in three finals affair.
It was the first time of UP to stepped into the UAAP men’s seniors’ basketball finals for the first time after 32 years.
Recently, a Twitter user named Hernan Delizo #EndFRV #EndBigotry warned Mr. Duterte that late dictator Ferdinand Marcos was ousted after the last time UP joined the finals.
In the post, Delizo wrote that Marcos was ousted the last time UP stepped into the finals hinting that Mr. Duterte could be also expelled since Fighting Maroons was given a chance to advance to the finals.
