In a video for promotion of a local toothpaste brand, Marga shared how she met Issa and how she instantly caught her attention and captivated her, “I was beside [our mutual friend], and I asked him – she [Issa] was far – and I said, ‘Who’s that girl?’. And then he [asked], ‘Why?’ Well, “She’s like the most beautiful girl in this whole room so like who is she?’ Then, he told me that, ‘Oh! That’s Issa!’.”

While there is still discrimination against LGBTQI+ couples, LGBTQI+ people, however, are accepted, embraced, and tolerated by the society. They are free to love who they want only that discrimination is rampant.

Marga gushed about how she got a crush with Issa but also said, “Somebody actually once said to us that “Sayang,” or “sana iba na lang,” you know something that would say our relationship could have been better with other people which kind of never made us happy about that kind of comment because it’s like, that doesn’t even make sense. How is this sayang?”
