Incident Allegedly Involving Four (4) Men of Las Piñas PNP Chief Led to Police Official Being Fired
LAS PIÑAS PNP CHIEF – The chief of the Philippine National Police (PNP) Las Piñas was fired due to an incident allegedly involving four (4) of his men.
Recently, a news report about a police officer being removed from office in line with the accusations against the people under him crossed the surface.
Based on the social media post of Remate on its Twitter page, the chief of the Las Piñas police was recently fired. It was reportedly due to the alleged involvement of four (4) of his men in a “kidnap-for-ransom” issue.

This case is not the first case of a police officer being removed from his or her post. For several times in the past, there were PNP officials who were fired from their position.
Some removal from office was because of erring behaviors while others are specifically caused by corruption. Meanwhile, on the other side, we still have lots of police officers who are committed to their duties to the people.
