Several local government units have declared class suspensions over some parts of the country due to the effects of Tropical Depression Samuel.

On Thursday (November 22, 2018), the classes have been suspended in several areas after tropical depression Samuel lashed some parts of the Philippines.

Samuel was last spotted at 90 kilometers north-northwest of Puerto Princesa City, Palawan packing maximum sustained winds of 45 kilometers per hour (kph) and gustiness of up to 65 kph.

Class Suspensions

The weather disturbance made landfall 5 times across the Visayas and expected to leave the tonight or tomorrow early dawn (November 23, 2018).

The local government in several areas declared the cancellation of classes in several areas due to the possible threats of Samuel.
