FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano Gets Higher Ratings Against Rival Show Cain At Abel
ANG PROBINSYANO – Kapamilya primetime show FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano got higher ratings over Kapuso‘s Cain At Abel.
ABS-CBN drama series Ang Probinsyano was based on Fernando Poe Jr.’s 1997 movie of the same title. The show has been airing for three years now.
Prominent actor Coco Martin works on the primetime action tv series along with Angel Aquino, Lito Lapid, and Susan Roces among others.
FPJAP’s former director Toto Natividad recently left the show to direct it’s rival program Cain At Abel.
The show which premiered last November 19 is top-billed by Kapuso actors Dingdong Dantes and Dennis Trillo. It is an action-family drama about two brothers who grew up in two very different worlds.
Natividad stated he just wants to share his talent with the other network and he’ll just be their guest director for the meantime while his transfer is not official yet.
His former tv series Ang Probinsyano and his current show became rivals and were recently surveyed by the Kantar Media.
On the Instagram account of the Dreamscape Entertainment Television, they posted the result of Kantar Media survey from nationwide and rural viewers.
The scores of the Ang Probinsyano registered 40.1% while the Cain At Abel gained 17.6% on national. On rural ratings, the FPJAP scored 41.6% while the rival show got 14.9.
Coco Martin’s program remains the undisputed primetime show. Kapamilya’s score is more than double the viewership over the latest Kapuso program.
Ang Probinsyano and Cain At Abel primetime programs just aims to provide an entertaining show for us. High rating or not they just want to showcase their wonderful talents and make people happy.
