Pinoy Host Vice Ganda Reacts Over Court Order To Remove Filipino Subject
The Filipino noontime host Vice Ganda expressed his reaction towards the Supreme Court’s order to remove the Filipino subject.
Over the past few days, the Filipino subject has been one of the most controversial topics in the country after the Supreme Court decided to remove it from colleges and universities.
The Filipino people expressed their disappointment on the proposed exclusion of the Filipino, Panitikan, and Constitution as required subjects in college.
Supreme Court also defend their decision explaining that they are ensuring that there is no duplication of subjects since Filipino has been taught in elementary and high school.
Recently, the Pinoy comedian breaks his silence regarding the issue of removing the Filipino subject in college.
The popular host also explained that the Filipinos still needs to study their own language citing that some students could fluently speak English but not in Tagalog.
“Ang Pilipino ba talaga ay alam na alam na talaga ang lahat, ang pasikot-sikot sa wikang Filipino o hindi pa? Alam niyo ba yung tagalog ng verb, tagalog ng noun… Pero pag pinag-usapan na yung pangngalan, pandiwa, pang-uri, panghalip, yung kakalkalin pa ntin ulit kasi nakakalimutan na natin,” the “It’s Showtime” host said.
