Road Rage Suspect’s Vehicle Found By Police, Special “8”  License Plate Changed To Regular Plate

The police authorities recovered road rage suspect’s vehicle but the special “8” license used during the traffic altercation had been already changed.

On Friday (November 16, 2018), Philippine National Police Highway Patrol Group director Chief Superintendent Roberto Fajardo revealed that Jojo Valerio Serafico’s vehicle had been already found.

The Toyota FJ Cruiser owned by the entertainer has been recovered by the authorities in Quezon City.

Previously, the vehicle containing a special “8” license plate reserved for congressmen has been involved in a traffic altercation.

The authorities reported that the vehicle was painted over and the special “8” license plate had been changed to a regular license.

Fajardo said that the plate is expired plate since LTO did not yet issue a new no. 8 plate indicating that it was unauthorized and subject to pay a fine of P5,000.

Valerio is a member of Lil Eyes Band who was involved in a road rage incident and attacked a motorist during their exchange of heated arguments.

The suspect also evaded the questions why he was using the special “8” protocol plate.

“There was no intention of introducing myself as a congressman or anak ng congressman. Unang baba ko, wala akong sinabi… Kung may gagamitin po ako, sa pamilya ko po. Bakit ako magna-name drop ng isang tao na hindi ko po kilala?” Valerio said quoted by ABS-CBN.

The musician paid P4,000 bail for his temporary free for slight physical injury charges and traffic law violation.
