Teachers Are The People Behind Viral Starfish-Throwing Photo, DepEd Says
The Department of Education (DepEd) revealed that the teachers are the people behind the viral starfish-throwing photo that elicits comments online.
Earlier this week, the photos of alleged DepEd employees drew flaks online after sharing their photos throwing starfish in Palawan.
The photos show the DepEd employees were picking and throwing starfish into the sea and even strike a pose on the camera.
The government workers receive massive criticisms from the online community because of their irresponsible action.
On Thursday (November 15, 2018), the Education Department confirmed that the people behind the starfish-throwing photos are teachers.
DepEd is now trying to contact the teachers involved in the starfish-throwing incident for an explanation.
