Keanna Reeves Pays Thousands Of Peso as she Posts Bail To Be Free From Jail Over Her Cyberlibel Case
KEANNA REEVES – Actress Keanna Reeves posted bail and paid thousands of peso just to be free from jail over her cyber libel case.
Actress Janet Derecho Duterte or better known as Keanna Reeves got arrested due to cyber libel case last Monday, November 12.
Judge Maria Florencia Formes-Baculo of Laguna Regional Trial Court Branch 34 issued the warrant for the Filipina celebrity last November 7, 2018.
The 48-year-old former actress was arrested by the authorities in Timog corner Scout Ybardolaza in Quezon City.
Keanna Reeves violated the Republic Act No. 10175 or the Cybercrime Prevention Act, which is the “public and malicious imputation of a crime, or of a vice or defect, real or imaginary, or any act, omission, condition, status, or circumstance tending to cause the dishonor, discredit, or contempt of a natural or juridical person, or to blacken the memory of one who is dead.”
Based on a report from PEP, Reeves allegedly issued libelous statements during her Facebook live video against the businesswoman Nancy Dimaranan.
Keanna Reeves was imprisoned on the Cabuyao Police Station in Cabuyao, Laguna but was freed after posting bail.
The Pinoy Big Brother big winner just stayed one day in jail and paid thousands of peso to get out of the confinement.
According to the report, Keanna freed herself out of prison by paying the amount of ninety thousand pesos.
The former actress stated that there will be a continuous trial hearing after posting bail on her cyber libel case.
