Pinay Celebrity Keanna Reeves Arrested In Quezon City For Cyberlibel
The Filipina former actress Keanna Reeves got arrested in Quezon City due to cyber libel case issued by Laguna Regional Trial Court Branch 34.
On Monday afternoon (November 12, 2018), Janet Derecho Duterte or popularly known as Keanna Reeves was arrested by the authorities in Timog Avenue corner Scout Ybardolaza in Quezon City.
Judge Maria Florencia Formes-Baculo of Laguna Regional Trial Court Branch 34 issued the arrest warrant for the Pinay celebrity.
The arrest warrant against the 48-year-old former actress was issued last November 7, 2018 (Wednesday).
The authorities brought the Pinay actress to the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) Regional Office in Laguna for processing and documentation.
Reeves allegedly violated the Republic Act 10175 section 4 or cyber libel, which is the “public and malicious imputation of a crime, or of a vice or defect, real or imaginary, or any act, omission, condition, status, or circumstance tending to cause the dishonor, discredit, or contempt of a natural or juridical person, or to blacken the memory of one who is dead.”
Reeves could pay a bail of P200,000 as recommended by Judge Baculo.
