RICO J. PUNO – The Kapamilya actor John Lloyd post as a tribute to Rico J. Puno has surfaced online which gathered various comments.
Due to abdominal aortic illness, OPM Legend “Macho Gwapito” Rico J. Puno died at the age of 65 and his sudden passing has brought tears to the people of the show business industry. He is a legend and his music will surely remain forever.
Megastar Sharon Cuneta, Mr. Pure Energy Gary Valenciano, Broadway Diva Lea Salonga, and among other popular personalities paid homage to the late Total Entertainer as they grieve over the great loss.
Tosca Puno, his daughter, penned a heartfelt message for him which says, “Papa salamat po sa lahat! Mahal na mahal po kita! You were a great provider and a great & sweet father! Thank you for staying strong just to be with us and spend time with us longer. The best po ang mga bondings natin! Ma-mimiss po kita!”
And before he passed away, he even had this wish of happiness and final message to on-screen son John Lloyd Cruz where Puno has indicated, “We’re not here to judge him for his actions kasi mga kaibigan niya kami. Kung ano ang nangyayari kay John Lloyd ngayon, we only wish him happiness.”
He actually also said that the actor shouldn’t have left them hanging as they, the veterans, understand what the actor is going through. He shared that he himself also experienced the same situation where he needed a break.
And now, with his death which is so sudden, John Lloyd posted something as a tribute to the OPM legend.
