Beauty pageants have recently become rampant in society may it be in the division of men, women, and member of the LGBT community. This only goes to show that there are a lot of beautiful Pinoys with substance.

In every competition, the Philippines always have a representative – Miss Universe, Miss Earth, Miss World, Miss International, and among others which continues to bring pride for the country.

However, before those big and international pageants, beauty queens started in small competitions. And just recently, from Consolacion, Cebu City, a 4th-year student of the University of San Carlos Cebu went viral over her impressive answer during the Question and Answer Portion.
The question is, “In today’s world, is humanity headed in the right or wrong direction?”
And her flawless answer goes this way:
“We live in a society today, where we are very thankful to have a varied array of people, men, women, and now the LGBTQ community. And the beautiful thing about that is, that instead of negating, contradicting, and creating problems we created platforms and significant projects that benefit everyone in the society. We accepted the beauty of diversity, in which it would be understood that we are different individuals value each other regardless of skin, intellect, talent, years, and gender. It is for that very reason that I believe that humanity is headed in the right direction.”
