It was definitely a sensational topic under hot waters when Regine Velasquez finally decided to leave GMA and transfer to ABS-CBN after 20 years of being sheltered by her former network.

In an open letter based on a previous report for her bashers, she wrote, “Maybe you guys can stop insulting me my husband and my son. Lumipat lang po ako ng network hindi ako pumatay ng tao. Again I’m grateful for my 20 years in GMA I made a lot of friends there and I have great memories being a kapuso.”

Upon her transfer, she has said as she bid goodbye from Kapuso network, “It was really me who decided. Tsaka if you know me like my husband knows who I am, you know na gagawin ko kung ano ang gusto ko.”
