6.2 magnitude earthquake in New Zealand
An earthquake of 6.2 magnitude strikes near New Plymouth, the island at the north New Zealand.
United States Geological Survey confirmed this news on October 30, Tuesday.
Reportedly, it has hit 63 km (39 miles) east of the city of New Plymouth, at a depth of 228 km (142 miles).
Based on the report published on the site of US News, there were no immediate reports of a tsunami warning, damage or casualties from the quake.
